What type of scooters do you deal in?

I deal in all types of restored Italian Lambretta & Vespa Scooters, Indian Lambretta & Vespa Scooters, Indian API Lambrettas, Indian SIL Scooters & Classic Bikes. These include Vespa 150's, Vespa 200's, Lambretta 150's, Lambretta GP 200's, Bajaj 150's, etc. I also deal in New / Pre-owned Indian scooters like Bajaj, Kinetic Honda, TVS, etc. and Indian Bikes like the Royal Enfield. Any other item you require from India can also be handled.

What is the kind of restoration you do?

These beautiful and fully restored single/two tone scooters have the classic 60ís look. The scooters were completely stripped down and built up from bare chassis. All the old paint has been scraped off and new layers built up starting from the rust proof primer. These scooters has been fully restored with new cylinder (standard size), new piston & rings, original carburetor, new bearings, seals, condenser, contact breakers, spark plug, fuel tap lever, filters, brake pads, ignition coil, exhaust system, tires, tubes, seats and seat covers, leg shield trims, floor strips, rubber mat, new head light, tail light assembly with brake light, all electrical wires, all cables and wires, all rubber parts, new emblems, logo, new single/two tone paint, new steering lock and ignition switch, nuts and bolts, etc. Body is straight, absolutely no rust, engine is very dependable and smooth with one or two kick start when warm always. Has rebuilt magneto which delivers 12 volt output. All the gears and output shafts, kicker gear, etc has been inspected and changed if necessary. All the parts are original to the best possible and all replacements are with factory approves spares, either imported or Indian. I will provide a bill of sale and any other documents in English, required to register the scoot without any glitches. The Vespa's are all 3 geared but can be changed to 4 gears if you desire (at extra cost). The Lambretta's are the regular 150cc 4 gears type.  All the Lambretta's are fitted with 10" tires and the Vespa's are fitted with 8" tires. Typical preparation time for each scooter is 60-75 days. I have exported many scooters to the US, UK, Australia and Europe and can give you references of my existing clients with their permission and can also give you references of people in the US with whom I have business dealings. What are the documents you provide for registering the scoot?

The bill of sale and the bill of Lading are the primary documents that I provide and these are enough to get the scooter registered. I also provide the following documents - Copy of the original documents of the scoot registered in India, original registration cancellation document from the DMV here after the scoot has been dispatched, original police report or certificate, and any other document you may require. Please note that all the documents are in English and in case of vernacular languages, translations in English will be provided. All the scoots that I have sent so far have been registered without any additional documents and without any problems.

How do I handle customs?

Customs is usually free as you are importing a single article for own use if the scooter is more than 25 years old, and customs can be handled for you by the local clearing agent for some nominal fees which you have to fix up or else you can do the customs clearing yourself with ease by filling in the suitable forms and paying the necessary inspection charges. Please inquire with your local customs office for additional details.

What type of packing do you do?

I provide very safe and thorough packing for the scoot as you can see in the photos. All the scoots that I have sent have reached in pristine condition and no one has even taken insurance so far. Insurance if required has to be arranged by you at your end (totally unnecessary).

How do you ship?

I have a forwarding agent here in Bangalore who will handle the shipping. I usually ship scooters by sea as LCL cargo. It takes 30-45 days to most parts of the USA and Europe. I can ship to any major port in the world.

Can you ship by air?

Yes in case you require, I can do so but remember it is three times more costly though faster.

It takes 30-45 days to most parts of the world by sea and 3-7 days by air.

What are the forms of payment you accept?

As of now, I accept only advance payment by wire transfer to my account in Bangalore, India which is the cheapest method and also the easiest as any bank will do the transfer for you. You can also use any means like credit card, etc to purchase a wire transfer to India. For Cheques, Money Order, PayPal, etc. Please write to me.

What about emission and other state laws?

The scooters are more than 25 years old and used by you for personal use and can be registered without any problems in the USA and Europe. These scooters are being regularly registered in the USA and Europe, but please inquire with you local DMV before you make any decision.
